Procedures for internal audit visits

In the context of achieving the mission of the Center for Quality Assurance and Performance Assessment at Mansoura University, and the role assigned to it to follow up education quality assurance systems and prepare for academic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), the Center has developed a mechanism to implement this task and approved by the Center’s Board of Directors in its session No. (5) ) dated 26/1/2009, including the following procedures:
 
First: The faculties of the university submit the annual self-report to the Quality Assurance Center with the same standards and controls set by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
 
Second: The Center proposes the formation of an internal audit committee with experience in internal audits from inside or outside Mansoura University with the same controls carried out by the National Quality Assurance Authority and approved by Prof. Dr. / President of the University.
 
Third: The formed committee conducts a field visit to the college with the same methodology that it follows and with the same procedures and controls issued in the authority’s guide. It prepares the evaluation report for the college, explaining the strengths, weaknesses, and improvement proposals. The committee submits its report to the center.
 
Fourth: The Center delivers a copy of the report to Prof. Dr. / Dean of the College, who in turn prepares an improvement plan and presents the report and improvement plan to the College Council in preparation for submission to the University Council.
