Mansoura University President Announces Participation in "A New Beginning for Education Quality" Initiative

 
 

Prof. Sherif Khater -  President of Mansoura University, chaired the Board of Directors meeting of Mansoura University Quality Assurance Center on Thursday 29th  May 2025. The meeting was convened to discuss the development of the university’s quality system, most notably the university's participation in the "A New Beginning for Education Quality" initiative, plans for renewing institutional accreditation, and enhancing the efficiency of quality units across various faculties.

During the meeting Prof. Khater officially announced the university’s involvement in the "A New Beginning for Education Quality" initiative. Launched by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) on 5th May 2025, at the League of Arab States in Cairo, the initiative is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and aims to foster a culture of quality among students.

the University President emphasized that this participation reflects the university’s commitment to its national role in supporting initiatives aimed at entrenching comprehensive quality concepts. He highlighted the university's keenness to strengthen institutional cooperation with relevant authorities to elevate the standards of higher education in Egypt.

Furthermore, the President pointed out the pivotal role of the Mansoura university Quality Assurance Center in supporting the university’s strategic plans and enhancing both academic and administrative performance. He affirmed that the university is moving with steady steps toward institutional excellence and sustainable accreditation, in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030.

The meeting included a discussion of the Center's future roadmap, which features several developmental measures designed to align with institutional accreditation renewal requirements. These measures include, enhancing the efficiency of quality documentation and files across all faculties, intensifying qualification and training programs for both academic and administrative staff, developing the (KPIs) to monitor progress accurately, activating continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure long-term excellence.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Khater extended his gratitude to the management and the entire team of the Quality Assurance Center, commending their sincere efforts in supporting the university’s quality ecosystem. He further emphasized the necessity Accelerating the implementation of all work plans, fostering a spirit of teamwork to ensure the successful renewal of institutional accreditation and solidifying Mansoura University’s standing, both nationally and internationally as a pioneering institution in educational quality and a key contributor to Sustainable Development Goals.
